Osteopathy is the diagnosis, treatment and management of musculo-skeletal conditions affecting the body.
Who Has Osteopathic Treatment?
The focus of the Practice is to provide a highly professional and skilled service for patients requiring relief from pain. This includes osteopathic treatment to prevent a recurrence of symptoms once restoration of mechanical balance and function has been achieved.
People of all ages from children to the elderly may benefit from gentle, yet effective osteopathic treatment for their symptoms.
This includes people who are desk-bound working with computers in a wide range of professions such as Law and the Media industry through to the very physically active who may have strained themselves.
The General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) regulates osteopathic practice in the United Kingdom, and is the Statutory Body for Osteopathy in the UK. As such, all Osteopaths are required by law to be registered with the GOsC, in order to practice in the UK.
Ian Schofield is fully registered with the GOsC.
